Principle: as little data as possible
This site sets no cookies and loads no trackers, analytics, external fonts, scripts or third-party content. All files come from this server.
Server logs
When you visit, the web server processes technically necessary data (IP address, time, requested address, status code, browser identification) to deliver the page and prevent abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is deleted after a short time and not combined with other data.
Hosting
This site is operated by the following provider: IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider. The provider processes the server logs on our behalf.
Local setting
If you switch the colour scheme, your browser remembers the choice locally (localStorage). It is never sent to us.
Contact
If you write to apps@petit-souris.de (or via the contact form below), we process your details only to answer your request.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, we process your name, e-mail address and message text, and technically your IP address (to prevent abuse and to limit submissions per address) and a timestamp of when the form was opened (spam protection). The purpose is to answer your enquiry; the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual enquiry) or (f) (legitimate interest in answering and in protecting against abuse). The message is delivered to us by e-mail and is not stored in a database of this site. We delete it once the enquiry is dealt with and no statutory retention duty applies. The spam protection works without external services; when you submit, the form sets a technically necessary cookie for a few seconds as forgery protection (CSRF), which is deleted at once and does not allow recognition. The form needs JavaScript for this. Giving your name and e-mail address is voluntary, but without them we cannot reply.
Controller donation
If you send a mapping with the program "PS Controller Donation", the program opens your own mail program with a text; nothing is sent until you click "Send" yourself. The message to data@psorvia.io contains only the device name, the firmware and mode you typed, the operating system name, program version, date and the MIDI numbers of the controls you moved, plus your sender address. We use the details to create controller profiles for the PS plug-ins, and the sender address only for questions and the reply (consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, revocable at any time with effect for the future by e-mail to data@psorvia.io). The profile contains no details about you personally.
Your rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability (Art. 15–21 GDPR) and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Berlin the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
