Checked to the bit
Before delivery, every version is measured against stored references. If the sound changes unintentionally by even a single bit, that version does not go out.

A sound that changes unnoticed is a bug you only hear weeks later in a project. That is why we check it before anything ships.
Before delivery, every version is measured against stored references. If the sound changes unintentionally by even a single bit, that version does not go out.
The check is a gate, not a hint: a version that fails it is not delivered. Intended changes to the sound are not affected, they are taken on deliberately as the new reference.
The listening example shows the foundation: the same phrase computed in two separate runs, and as a third file the difference between them. It is not a quiet file but digital silence, every sample is exactly zero. Because the sound repeats bit for bit on every run, it can be measured bit for bit against a reference.
